Automated Tunnel Car Wash Facility
What was the Challenge?
Due to small property size and a rigorous local permitting environment, site design was of utmost importance for this car wash facility. The project required a comprehensive site analysis and surveying in order to provide a detailed understanding of the property.
How did Barton & Loguidice provide a solution?
B&L worked with the client on all phases of the design and permitting to optimize the site layout while securing all required local and state permits for the project. Our survey services included extensive town records research that determined property boundaries, easements, rights-of-way, and other relevant information. Field work was also conducted to obtain accurate measurements of the site’s physical features, including topography, vegetation, and any existing structures or utilities. Based on the survey findings, B&L developed comprehensive site design plans that included an overall site layout, grading plan, utilities layout, erosion and sedimentation control design, construction details, permit applications, post-approval services, and stormwater management design.
Why was the project a success?
Our team took the time to understand the client’s needs and worked with municipal staff to resolve any concerns prior to permitting. B&L’s experienced engineers, land surveyors, and designers all brought their expertise to this project, providing innovative solutions to the design and development process. The project was successfully completed in 2020, and the car wash facility now stands as a testament to B&L’s commitment to excellence in land surveying and site design services.
